Elaboration
La pomme pressée d'être presée is a cidre bouché made using the traditional Champagne method. Produced in small batches, it is part of our new artisan series. An initial chaptalized fermentation of the juice in stainless steel vats is followed by a second fermentation in the bottle, aged on its lees for up to 12 to 18 months. The lees are still imprisoned inside the bottle, as this corked brut cider has not undergone any stirring or disgorging. riddling or disgorging.
Tasting notes
Color :Attractive effervescence and yellow color with straw highlights.
Olfactory :Aromatic and fine, this cider gives off scents of fresh apples and white flowers.
Gustatory : The effervescence is abundant, with fine bubbles. The McIntosh, which is a little discreet, brings a touch of acidity to this cider, giving it freshness. In contact with the yeast, a floral profile and a toasted bread crumb flavor dominate. Incredibly drinkable, this is the Cidrerie's most all-purpose product!
To accompany Excellent on its own as a replacement for Champagne or other sparkling wines at a festive occasion, but especially with a fine platter of local cheeses and charcuterie.
